Ordered the Katsu Curry here wasn't expecting much...but was pleasantly surprised--this satisfied my Japanese curry craving. The spice & sweetness of the curry was done well and neither felt like they were outdoing the other...just good flavor.

I had Ninja Bao bookmarked on Instagram for a while, and I was so excited to finally try it today. I ordered the gyoza sampler box, and it was just as delicious as I’d hoped. The service was great, and the restaurant itself was cute, quaint, and very clean. I was pleasantly surprised with a free scallion pancake—it was crispy and delicious. The portion sizes were generous, and my favorite gyoza in the sampler was the crispy chicken. The texture was spot on, with the perfect amount of filling inside. I’m already looking forward to coming back to try the bao next!

I know it’s a bit hard to find this place—I struggled myself since I had no idea it was underground, located in suburban station. However, all the confusion was worth it once I tasted the delicious food at Ninja Bao. Their Bao and Gyoza are a must-try if you visit. The service was great and friendly. Highly recommend!

This place is well decorated, the service was very friendly and helpful, and the food was very good. The pricing was reasonable as well. A little hard to find within Suburban Station but was happy to have tried it. When you’re walking towards the Dunkin from 15th, keep going straight and it’s on your right. Would go back.

First, here’s how you get to Ninja Bao. Take the Septa escalator located on the corner of 15th and Market. It’s on 15th about 100ft north of Market. Follow the sign towards the Septa sales office and go past the post office and Ninja Bao is on the right. It’s outside the turnstiles so you don’t have to pay or anything coming in off the street. Second, order some Bao buns and the scallion pancake beef wrap. They are amazing. I always thought someone should make an Asian style burrito and Ninja did it and better yet used a scallion pancake instead of a flavorless flour tortilla. The people were extremely friendly and the place was very clean. Don’t be bothered by having lunch underground, it’s a must stop!

I don't normally bother writing restaurant reviews, but I have to share my experience with Ninja Bao. I've been wanting to visit this place since I moved back to Jersey over a year ago and I finally got the chance yesterday while cat sitting for my mom and I was NOT disappointed!! I already knew trying to find the place might be difficult from other reviews and I don't ride the train much so I was super nervous about the trip, but once I got into Suburban Station the guards helped direct me and I found it no problem! The restaurant was clean and surprisingly quiet! There were so many things I wanted to try and share with my boyfriend that I definitely ended up splurging a bit, but it was so worth it! Everything we tried was absolute ! Even reheated once I got home later that night, though I'm definitely looking forward to bringing family and friends back so we can eat it hot and fresh! The service was excellent and the staff very sweet, allowing me to sub out a different drink with the meal I purchased. If you get the chance to stop by this little dive, do not hesitate!! This place is an absolute gem!

Ninja Bao is definitely worth the trip from Jersey. Amazing food, service and atmosphere. I highly recommend the pork bao, egg fried rice, and the scallion pancake! My wife and I make frequent trips to the city just to eat here. A must try for everyone!

Y'all y'all y'all y'all. If you're not getting the dumplings you're doing it wrong. These are my new favorite dumplings. I have been twice now. I picked up a fun box for my coworker and I. It is a quite a bit of food but for a great price. Every single dumpling is excellent. There is not a bad choice. Chicken, pork, veggie, or dessert. They are all amazing. I'm glad they opened the restaurant because it looked really nice inside and looked like a fun place to be. The line was out the door and I couldn't be happier about that. Next time I'll take the time to sit down, but grab some dumplings for lunch or dinner. You'll be really glad you did.
